First, Jacob is available to listen, and understand the request and he is clear on the charges before the work starts. He then takes the time to work on the manuscript and really does a good job proofreading the work while maintaining the author's voice and writing style. He also gives suggestions on what one can change or highlights sentences or ideas that do not fit well in a particular section. The manuscripts were shortened to fit the required word count and also became more accessible and readable. Jacob also corrected punctuation and asked questions where more clarity was needed.
